Biography
Mehdi Jarrahi was a 47-year-old resident of Tehran who was killed by security forces on January 8, 2026, at Shah Abdolazim Square. He was fatally targeted while bravely intervening to protect a young woman from being beaten by Basij members. He is honored as a 'Javidnam' for his selfless act of courage during the protest movements.
